We’re thrilled to share that on October 23, 2025, the Medical University of Białystok coordinated the meeting of the OneTick Consortium — a key milestone for our 🇪🇺 MSCA Staff Exchange project studying 🕷️ tick-borne diseases in the context of 🌍 climate change and 🏙️ urbanization.

💬 A Productive Discussion
Representatives from 13 partner institutions across Europe 🌐 met virtually to discuss the next steps before the official project launch.
Key topics included:
- 🔄 Integrating secondments into work packages
- 💶 Establishing budgeting and reporting best practices
- 📖 Promoting open science and effective data sharing
The meeting was highly engaging and collaborative, providing valuable insights into how to implement each work package efficiently across institutions.
🚀 What’s Next
The OneTick project officially starts on January 1, 2026 — marking the beginning of an exciting international effort to better understand tick-borne diseases.
